  • Palestinian-American artist Jordan Nassar works priced between $6,600 and $10,000

Mor Charpentier

  • a set of The Fountain Archives (2008- ) by Saâdane Afif for around €45,000
  • Alexander Apóstol’s Color is my Business (2012-2015), which comes in an edition of three plus two artist proofs, for $29,000
  • small 3D-printed sculptures by Carlos Motta, for €8,000
  • False Flag (2017), photographs of typesetting sorts by the Chilean artist Voluspa Jarpa

Zeno X

  • Brooklyn-based Mircea Suciu’s painting The constant feeling of guilt (after Delacroix) (2018) for between $20,000 and $25,000
  • an untitled 2017 Paulo Monteiro work on linen for an undisclosed amount
  • an oil on canvas by Marina Rheingantz Galope (2017) for $25,000
  • a mixed-media work by Dutch artist Mark Manders Landscape with Male Head(1992-2017)

Grimm gallery

  • two paintings by Caroline Walker (her solo show that opened Friday at the gallery’s location on the Bowery has also already sold out)
  • Matthew Day Jackson’s LIFE, April 6, 1959 (2018), priced at $150,000
  • two works by William Monk, priced at $30,000 apiece
  • three works by British artist Alex Dordoy for £14,000
  • multiple editions of Dana Lixenberg’s iconic 1996 photograph of the late rapper the Notorious B.I.G. wearing a Coogi sweater and counting a stack of money, which was on the cover of a magazine in the early 1990s (smaller sizes starting at $3,000 and large ones beginning at $15,000)

Thaddaeus Ropac

  • Baselitz painting Sie werden gehen, sie sind gegangen (2017) for $850,000, which was bought by a British collector and will go back to London
  • Robert Longo’s Untitled (Split Ram) (2018) for $850,000
  • a 1990 Rauschenberg, Star Park (Borealis), for $675,000

Frank Elbaz

  • sold two editions of the photograph Mother Reader(2018) by Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili, one to the Harvard Business School Collection and another to a private collector in New York, and a curtain and neon installation, Leaning braid (2017), to a private collection in New York for $10,000

  • McArthur Binion’s (including dna: sepia: ii, 2016 selling in the range of $50,000-$75,000 USD)

  • sold seven paintings by the Guatemalan artist Jorge de León

  • sold a work by Argentine artist Juan Tessi at $12,000

Lehmann Maupin

  • McArthur Binion’s Binion’s DNA: Study: (Frieze), 2018 (LM28107) selling in the range of $150,000-$175,000 USD; Ink: Work (Vermillion), 2018 (LM27954) selling in the range of $80,000-$100,000 USD to a New York based collector; and ink: work: iv, 2018 (LM28123) sold in the range of $50,000-$75,000 to a new collector to the gallery from Michigan. Binion’s dna: transition: i, 2015 (LM27602) also sold in the range of$50,000-$75,000 USD to a trustee of SF MoMA; and DNA: Study: Zero, 2018 (LM28105) sold in the range of $150,000-$175,000 USD to a board member at Albright Knox
  • Shirazeh Houshiary’s Cascade, 2018 (LM27849) also sold in the range of £100,000-£150,000 GBP to major New York based collectors
  • Cecilia Vicuña’s painting Gabriela Mistral, 1979 (LM26561) has sold in the range of $65,000-$75,000 USD to a New York based collector
  • Shirazeh Houshiary‘s painting Sap, 2018 (LM27848) sold in the range of £200,000-£250,000 GBP

David Kordansky Gallery

  • sold the majority of their solo booth of photographer Torbjørn Rødland  in the range of $14,000 USD to $28,000 USD
  • a number of seminal works by the renowned artist Tom of Finland as part of the special curated section, For Your Infotainment: Hudson and Feature Inc. in the range of $10,000 to $25,000

Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac

  • two works by Georg Baselitz ranging from €500,000-€700,000
  • a Tony Cragg bronze sculpture for €175,000
  • a piece by Robert Rauschenberg for $725,000
  • a metal and wood piece by Jack Pierson for $190,000

Perrotin

  • sold about half of their mini-show of Bharti Kher sculptures and bindi paintings, handpicked from her studio, for prices ranging from$155,000-30,000 to a mix of new and current clients

  • sold two paintings by Kehinde Wiley in the range of $100k – 150k
  • a new work by Jim Hodges in range of $100K-$200k
  • a piece by Luiz Zerbini for c. $150k
  • a number of works by David Shrigley

  • three sculptures by Tom Friedman in the range of $200k-$300k are on reserve

  • sold William Kentridge’s bronze Shadow Figure II (2016) for $95,000

  • sold three Clinton Hill paintings at c. $95,000 each, two to a London collector and one to a collector from California

  • sold Barbara Bloom‘s Vanity (2017) within two hours to a prominent New York collector for $90,000

  • sold ten works ranging from $25,000 to $70,000.

Maureen Paley

  • sold a Gillian Wearing portrait for £22,000

  • sold out their entire booth of works by Farah Atassi at prices ranging from $24k-35k

  • sold two works by Indian artist Mohan Samant
  • Jhaveri Contemporary was also awarded the Frieze Stand Prize for its outstanding presentation in the Spotlight section of the fair

  • sold a number of Thomas Trosch works ranging from $15,000-$35,000
  • multiple works by Jocelyn Hobbie, Mary Reid Kelley and John Wesley
