Brooke Lampley has resigned her position as US head of the Impressionist and Modern department at Christie’s where she has worked for the last 13 years. She will be joining Sotheby’s as a Vice Chairman in the Fine Art Department early in 2018.

The move comes as a surprise after the last rounds of auction house personnel moves had seemed to subside.
