
Peter Loughery’s Los Angeles Modern Art held an auction this week that shows the continuing appetite for Contemporary art in LA. The sale was led by a Richard Prince joke painting that made a very competitive (for LAMA) $1.58m. It was followed by an early Alex Katz which made $162,500.
