Heffel, the dominant Canadian auction house, won’t release the catalogue for its November 26th sale until next week but the imminent opening of Steve Martin’s exhibition of Lawren Harris’s work at the Hammer museum in LA has brought three works to the sale. Two of the Harris’s that Heffel has on offer are estimated above 1m CAD, including this one in his “mature” style that will get much of the attention from the Hammer show.
