This morning, Absolut announced a non-spirits-based new business division selling affordable art online:
Conceived from Absolut’s long-established heritage and support for the arts, AbsolutArt.com will prove that anyone can collect art by established household names and emerging talent, from all over the world, at an affordable price. The site offers insider access to the most dynamic local art scenes by partnering with curators on the ground in each city.
Absolut Art’s global vision is being executed locally, starting with Stockholm. The site launches with over 75 works by more than 40 artists, in partnership with local curator Jonas Kleerup, with prints in editions of 5 – 100, with the majority priced between $250 – $3,000 USD.
