Page Six let’s Edwin Moses tell his Basquiat story:
“He did a picture of me and presented it to me. . .” Moses told us at the IWC and DuJour magazine bash at the W South Beach Wednesday. “It’s something that’s never been seen before. I have it locked up.”
Moses was given the portrait by the artist after meeting him in New York.
“I got it in 1985,” Moses explained. “I was at a luncheon with Jean-Michel and Andy Warhol at Mr. Chow. He said, ‘I’ll send you something in the mail tomorrow,’ and that’s what happened. That quick.”
