Asian Buyers Drive Imp Mod Day Sales to $106m

What’s going on the Impressionist and Modern day sales? Sotheby’s February day sale in London set a record at $85.7m.

Yesterday, the firm again saw big numbers with $66.3m composed of 11 works over $1m and 66% of the sold lots going above high estimates. All indications point to Asian buyers:
