ARTnews has released their list of the world’s top 200 collectors:

Seventeen collectors are new to the ARTnews 200, list including Guess? Jeans boss Maurice Marciano; Warner Music owner Len Blavatnik; hedge fund managers Alan Howard and Daniel Och; Brazilian investment banker José Olympio Pereira and his wife, Andrea; Philadelphia Phillies co-owner John S. Middleton; Toronto real estate investor Hank Latner; Helsinki-based construction company owner Carl Gustaf Ehrnrooth; and Tokyo-based former railway contractor Takeo Obayashi.

Three of the five collectors from China are new to the list—Beijing car dealer Yang Bin; publisherThomas Chao; and Shanghai-based nightclub owner Qiao Zhibing.

Although many on the ARTnews 200 list have multiple residences, half make their primary home in the United States; 19 reside in Germany; 12 in Switzerland; 10 in the U.K.; 8 in France; and 5 each inCanada and Belgium.
