Warhol Marlon to Appear in Christie’s November PWC Sale

September 4, 2012 by Marion Maneker

It’s been seen in The Wall Street Journal and on Gagosian’s stand at ArtBasel. Donald Bryant’s Warhol, Marlon will now be seen at Chrsitie’s in the November Post-War and Contemporary Sale. Christie’s previously sold a much larger double Marlon for $32m; Gagosian was said to be asking $40m. So the folks at Christie’s have set a strong, selling estimate at around $20m. Anyone want to predict the selling price?
