Thieves Take Picasso & Mondrian from Greek Museum

January 9, 2012 by Marion Maneker

The Wall Street Journal reports that art thieves hit a museum in central Athens early today grabbing two Mondrians, Picasso and another work. The whole event took seven minutes with the thieves dropping one Mondrian as they fled.

The robbers had been triggering alarms remotely over the weekend to get security to disarm the system.
