Hilfiger’s Most Treasured Possession: His Warhols

December 8, 2011 by Marion Maneker

The Guardian asks Tommy Hilfiger a few publicity questions. The man who owns at least 20 Warhol works weaves his art collecting into answers:

Aside from a property, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought?
I’ve been lucky enough to collect some wonderful pieces of work from Andy Warhol.

Where would you like to live?
I currently live in the Plaza in New York and I love it – all that history, all those interesting stories.

What would your super power be?
To understand every language in the world, that would be cool.

What is your most treasured possession?
Sweet Pungent, it’s the first canvas created from a unique collaboration between Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Q&A: Tommy Hilfiger (Guardian)
