Nara Paces Himself

October 25, 2011 by Marion Maneker

The Observer reports that Yoshitomo Nara has moved to Pace:

Mr. Nara had been represented in New York by the Marianne Boesky Gallery. […] Pace has been busy adding artists recently, with Japanese photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto and the estate of Abstract-Expressionist Willem de Kooning both moving over from Gagosian. Pace also runs galleries in Beijing and London. Mr. Nara will continue to work with other galleries outside of New York. He shows at Tomio Koyama in Tokyo, Stephen Friedman in London, Blum & Poe in Los Angeles, and Galerie Meyer Kainer in Vienna.
