Art Institute of Chicago Names Interim Chief to Permanent Post

Kate Taylor reports that the Art Institute of Chicago has decided to make no substantial changes to the museum by appointing an insider to the top post:

The Art Institute of Chicago has named Douglas Druick, a curator there for 26 years and the chairman of two departments, as its new director, the institute announced Wednesday. Mr. Druick, 66, has been the acting director since June 30,
