Auctionata is Coming

February 10, 2011 by Marion Maneker

Auctionata is an Austrian start up that wants to bring auctions to the internet. On their Facebook page, they run an Ebay test that’s meant to explain why Auctionata will be a better place to auction cars, collectibles, watches, wine, jewelry and art.

Auctionata opens on April 3rd. Given the furor around the VIP Art Fair, Auctionata may be facing headwinds or they may be the next iteration of how to combine the internet with specialty dealing.

Soon we’ll be speaking to the folks behind Auctionata to post an interview timed to their launch. In the meantime, here’s some of their marketing materials to help explain what they’re aiming for.
