Ullens Collection: April Sale at Sotheby's HK

Sotheby’s announces that its April 3, 2011 sale in Hong Kong will include 106 works from the pioneering Chinese Contemporary art collection assembled by Baron Ullens. The sale’s value is $12-17 million and includes works by:

  • Zhang Xiaogang ‘s (b. 1958) Forever Lasting Love (Triptych), 1988 (Est. HK$25–30m / US$3.2–3.8m),
  • Zhang Peili (b. 1957) Series “X?” No. 3, 1986 (Est. HK$1.5–2.5m / US$190,000–320,000)
  • Wang Guangyi (b. 1957)  Mao Zedong: P2, 1988 (Est. HK$1.5–2 m / US$190,000–260,000).

Travel schedule for the works is:

12-16 February London; 9-10 March Shanghai; 12-13 March Beijing; 19-20 March Singapore; 18-22 March New York; 26-27 March Taipei
