Lot 1: Matisse drawing easily makes the high estimate and sells for £735,650

Lot 2: Bonnard just makes low estimate of £300k sells for £361,250

Lot 3: Feininger steamship gets over the high estimate quickly as bidders stretch their legs to £2.8m on the hammer, £3.177m premium.

Lot 4: Max Liebermann makes the high est. of £750k hammer

Lot 5: Signac Venice harborscape turns into a tug of war between order book and bidder in the room. Bidder drops out just above the low est. and sells for £2.05m hammer or £2.337m.
