Christie's Imp/Mod Evening Sale = $231,439,500

November 4, 2010 by Marion Maneker

With 67 out of 84 lots sold, the sale achieved an very strong 80% sell-through rate. Though it should be noted that many of the lots were sold below the low estimate suggesting that Christie’s worked hard with consignors in the days before the sale to reduce reserve prices in order to achieve sales.
