September 23, 2010 by Marion Maneker

Curbed LA reports that Larry Gagosian has bought the home once owned by Gary Cooper:

Gary Cooper’s A. Quincy Jones house has sold. The Holmby Hills knockout, formerly owned by internet entrepreneur David Bohnett, went on the market in January asking $18.9 million. Gagosian Gallery owner Larry Gagosian closed escrow on the house in July, having paid $15.5 million. Who knows if other compensation was paid out in a different way, but bookmakers, you can now adjust your odds on the Holmby Hills, A. Quincy Jones Brody House sale price accordingly.
