Artprice issued a report on the Australian art market last month that came to our attention through The Diplomat, an Asian news site. As their chart shows, two of the top 10 prices for Australian painters were achieved this year; 6 of the other 8 were from 2007, 1 from 2008 and 1 from 2006.
