Christie’s Indian & Southeast Asian Art Results

September 14, 2010 by Marion Maneker

Christie’s sold 130 lots out of 235 offered today to bring in $3.98m. That’s a 55% sell-through rate and an average price of $30,615.

It was a tough sale where most of the top lots failed to find buyers but that didn’t stop a few items from soaring to multiples of their high estimates like the two pieces of silver in the top five lots.
