Getty Buys Turner for $45m

Sotheby’s sold J.M.W. Turner’s Modern Rome–Campo Vaccino to Hazlitt, Gooden & Fox, London dealers bidding for the J. Paul Getty Museum in LA. The previous record for Turner was $35m made in 2006.
