Chicago MCA Names New Curator

Kelly Crow announces that the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago has hired a new chief curator:

Michael Darling, a curator at the Seattle Art Museum, is moving to the Windy City. Mr. Darling was named earlier today to be chief curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, according to director Madeleine Grynsztejn. Mr. Darling plans to start July 12. Mr. Darling is best known his earlier role in organizing Takashi Murakami’s exhibit, “Superflat,” two years ago at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
