David Lester on Art Fairs

When we went to speak with David Lester at the American International Fine Art Fair in Palm Beach, he talked a bit about why his business concentrates on Florida.

He’s in the midst of launching two new fairs in Naples, FL. Here he explains a bit why:

Finally, Lester explains how he plans to return with Seafair the floating art fair that travels the East Coast reaching as far as Bar Harbor in Maine in the summertime. The attraction of Seafair is that it is a cheaper venue for art dealers who want to reach remote but wealthy markets. The downside, as Lester explains, is that few galleries have the staff to be able to take advantage of the yacht’s itinerary:
