The Wall Street Journal catalogues the art contents of a Palm Beach compound:
The three-house beachfront estate of Beth Rudin DeWoody is home to a number of well-known names in contemporary art. Photos by Cindy Sherman and Nan Goldin hang in one guest-house foyer, a dress by Andy Warhol is draped downstairs. A sculpture by artist and movie director John Waters of an almost life-size Ike Turner controlling a small marionette of ex-wife Tina sits in the living room of the main house; the first floor of the second guest house has no furniture but does contain Mr. Warhol’s Electric Chair #76 screen print, offset by an Ivan Navarro piece composed of a chair made of lit up fluorescent tubes entitled “You Sit You Die.”
In the center of the room on a pedestal is a gold plated shopping cart by Sylvie Fleury. (The iPod-like porta-potty, entitled “Porta-Party,” was made by Nick Rodrigues in 2007.)
