Sotheby's Paris Contemporary Art Sale

December 8, 2009 by Marion Maneker

Sotheby’s did well in Paris tonight with an €8m sale (well above the pre-sale estimate of €4.6m to €6.4m) of Contemporary art led by Pierre Soulanges, Jean Dubuffet, Yves Klein and Nichochlas de Staël. Only one lot–a Manolo Millares–out of the 27 on offer failed to sell for a sell-through percentage of more than 96%.
