Will Dash Sell?

November 9, 2009 by Marion Maneker

Dash Snow, Polaroid WallPhillips de Pury will test the enduring value of Dash Snow’s work later this week when it offers the artist’s Polaroid Wall with an estimate of $40-60,000. Phillips has another work by Snow in the day sale, both are estimated at numbers greater than anything Snow has previously achieved at auction. Though, to be fair, the works listed as sold publicly is quite small. In other words, there simply isn’t enough data to suggest stable or predictable market values.
