Sotheby's I/M Press Conference

Simon Shaw, Emmanuel Di Donna and David Norman were justifiably excited and relieved to have sold $181 million worth of Impressionist and Modern art this evening. Three strong collections contributed almost half of that total. But so did works–like the Giacometti and the Derain–that came from long-standing relationships between those specialists and the clients who consigned them.
