Lot 6 Manet Quartre Pommes ($850k)–$1.7m

Lot 7 van Dongen Jeune Arabe ($10m)–6 bidders vie for the red van Dongen but $12m takes it!

Lot 8 de Chirico La Meditazione del Mattino ($2m)–$2m is the final bid.

Lot 9 Léger Les Trois Musiciens ($3m)–lots of action. gets it well over the high. Everyone in until it crosses to $5m where it finally sells[private_subscriber][private_bundle]

Lot 10 Giacometti L’homme qui chavire ($12m)–cruises through $15m but keeps moving $17.2m

Lot 11 Balthus Etude pour ‘Le Lever’ ($600k)–$650,000 goes to bidder without a paddle. “We know you very well,” Tobias Meyer says.

Lot 12 Picasso Deux Femmes Nues ($1.2m)–sells for $1.8m

Lot 13 Redon Fleurs ($800k)–takes awhile to get some bids but still sells low at $500k

Lot 14 Derain Barques au port de collioure ($8m)–starts slow but gains momentum as various bidders come in. Chugs along through $10m until it alights on $12.5m

Lot 16 Pissarro Le Pont Boieldieu et la gare d’Orleans ($3m)–has no problem rising to $5m but turns into a real dog fight that takes it to $6.2m

Lot 17 Sisley La Seine a Argenteuil ($2m)–$1.3m, the rare sale in line with the est. range

Lot 18 Renoir Baigneuse ($1m)–$2.1m

Lot 19 Pissarro Le Jardin des Tuileries ($1.85m)–bids are flying; it sells for $2.4m

Lot 20 Renoir Femme au chapeau blanc ($3.5m)–only gets to $2.5m; Meyer gives the Nahmads an imploring look before the gavel falls.

Lot 21 Sisley Vue de Sevres ($800k)–$1.1m

Lot 22 Renoir Nature morte aux pommes et poires ($450,000)–telephone bidder loses patience twice trying to end it; finally works on the second try at $800k.

Lot 23 Degas Danseuse se coiffant ($1.2m)–passes at $750k

Lot 24 Kandinsky Krass und Mild ($8m)–Nahmads push to $7m but it brings more bidders in behind. The Nahmads come back over the top but still outbid as it goes to $9.4m

Lot 31 Picasso Buste d’homme ($12m)–bidders get to $8m without much trouble and makes $9.2m–the late Picasso market still holds up. how many more buyers are there?

Lot 32 Munch Seated female nudes ($1.75m)–active bidding to $2.3m but a late move gooses it to $2.4m

Lot 33 Giacometti Tete d’homme ($2m)–$3.3m after prolonged bidding

Lot 34 Nolde Uppiger Garten ($3m)–$2.3m

Lot 35 Picasso Claude a deux ans ($7m)–late bid gets $5.5m
