Lot 121 George Grosz Der neue Mensch has lots of new interest driving the price to $1.3m over a $500,00 high est.

Lot 132 Robert Delaunay Air, fer et eau, etude sells for $374.5k, a healthy premium over the $300k est.

Lot 147 Chagall Les Skieurs au coq makes its numbers at $458,500

Lot 150 Matisse Vase des fleurs est’d at $70k goes for $120k

Lot 156 Miro Signes et Figurations they were looking for $120k and got $182,500. Someone’s happy with that.

Lot 161 Magritte Hommage a Alphonse Allais Magritte isn’t having a great week at Christie’s with this work on paper selling well below the $300k low est from $290,500 with premium.

Lot 163 Schwitters Untitled fetches $302,500 over a $150k high est.

Lot 164 Schiele followed quickly by a Schiele that sells below the est of $300 but makes the number with commission added at $302,500

Lot 171 Grosz Amor Lichtspiele catches fire up to $314,500 when the top est. was $180k

Lot 173, 176, 178, 179  Matisse four works on paper post big number. The last three lots all sold with significant premiums above the estimates.  Lot 176 put up the highest number selling for $518,500
