The Financial Times just debuted a new magazine ‘How to Spend It’ that has an unusual web presence. Here are excerpts from the story on Shafik Gabr, who revived the current interest in Orientalism, and his curator, Dina Nasser-Khadivi, who was a Christie’s specialist in the field:
