Lot 16 Ansel Adams driven to $80,500 by bidding well over the $35k high est.

Lot 17 Ansel Adams Oak Tree – Sun jumps to $25,000 over the $7k est.

Lot 38 Walker Evans Church Organ and Pews gets a nice pop to $16,250 against $7k est. following bigger pop for Saratoga pic yesterday.

Lot 46 Eisenstadt Farewell to Servicemen provokes some interest at $21,250

Lot 57 Paul Strand Ragusa Sicily goes for $25k about 2x the high est.

Lot 74 Anonymous Daguerreotype goes for $62,500 against $25k est. This is getting to be a theme for these sales.

Lot 94 Paul Outerbridge, Jr. Egg in Spotlight makes $40,625 on $25k high est. Most of Outerbridges in sale find eager buyers.

Lot 99 sells toward top of est. range at $50k

Lot 102 Outerbridge Still Life with Red and Blue Flowers $25,000 over $7k est.

$1.396m at half-time. Coverage and sale resume at 2pm.

Robert FrankLot 106 Cartier-Bresson Rue Mouffetard goes to $26,250

Lot 116 Man Ray Lee Miller and Friend sells for $98,500, just about the top of the est.

Lot 123 Man Ray Rayograph solid sale at $31,250

Lot 124 Man Ray enlargement of Rayograph $22,500

Lot 139 Moholy-Nagy Fotoplastik sells well for $50k spot in the middle.

Lot 146 Robert Frank McClellanville, SC It’s Frank-o-mania with several lots of Robert Frank selling well at high end of est range but then this (above) $50k work topping out at $182,500!

Lot 167 Leibovitz small print of  John Lennon and Yoko Ono makes a strong $28,125

Lot 178 Mapplethorpe Calla Lily $80,500, no surprises

Lot 214: Richard Avedon; Stephanie Seymour, Model; $20-30,000 Lots 181, 182 & 183 Three Irving Penn lots sell in line with estimates. Last with slight premium. No shooting up prices because of his death here.

Lot 188 Irving Penn Nadja Auermann B gets a good price of $25k against $9k est.

Lot 196 Master Collection portfolios go for low price of  $218,500

Lot 203 Cindy Sherman sells low for $92,500

Lot 214 Richard Avedon Stephanie Seymour got someone excited. It sold for $46,875 which is a good bit more than the $30k high est.

Lot 218 Peter Beard est’d at $150k low passes

Lot 228 David Levinthal Barbie Milicent Roberts est’d at $9k but gets a huge pop to $56,250
