Telegraph Picks the Turner Prize

Richard Dorment weighs in with his own handicapping that turns out to be surprisingly similar to Davies’s:

If the judges stick to their brief, Hiorns will walk off with the Turner Prize on December 7. They won’t be able to ignore the fact that he was responsible for the most exciting work of art made in this country in 2008, the Artangel-sponsored project in which he covered the interior of a bedsit in London’s East End with crystallised copper sulphate. But if they are as impressed by the piece Richard Wright made for this show as I was, they may just bypass the favourite and go for the dazzling outsider. My advice – Hiorns, probably, but spread your bets.
