Buyer of $28m Chair Revealed?

Eileen Gray Dragon ChairIt was the mystery of the Spring. First observers fingered Henry Kravis–but the buyout maven would not risk alienating his investors–he quickly denied it. Now, Bloomberg says the buyer was a Greek collector:

Dinos Martinos has been identified by dealers as the buyer of the Eileen Gray chair that fetched a record 21.9 million euros at the Christie’s Saint Laurent sale in February. Martinos is head of Thenamaris Ships Management Inc.

But let’s remember that dealers say lots of things.
