Saffronart Online Sale

September 9, 2009 by Marion Maneker

Saffronart is holding an online auction of 95 works of art today and tomorrow. The bidding is active and some of the biggest lots are racking up real money. An Akbar Padamsee painting has reached the low estimate at $250,000 within the first day and a Francis Newton Souza work has topped the high estimate at $150,000 too. But the lot with the most bids is a Sudarshan Shetty sculpture that is soaring over its high estimate to $5640 with many hours left to go.
