RISD Museum director Hope Alswang abruptly leaves her post after school President shuts museum to save money. The Projo newsblog reports on the Rhode Island School of Design’s press release:

Hope AlswangThe release said that Alswang’s resignation, after nearly four years leading the museum, would take effect immediately and that the museum’s assistant director of planning, Ann Woolsey, would served as the museum’s interim replacement while the school looked for a replacement.
