Contemporary Art Sales Context

Sotheby’s Contemporary art auction will begin in London in a couple of hours. We’ll follow the sale lot by lot but in preparation for the sale it’s worth looking at some of the results from earlier this year. ChelseaArtGalleries.com runs some interesting auction analysis on the Contemporary sales. Here’s their list of the top grossing artists from London in February and New York in May:
