Guggenheim Endowment Down 18%; Museum Staff Down 8%

Bloomberg reports that the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum has cut 25 positions in response to a loss of 18% on the endowment which now stands at $113 million. Fortunately, only 9 persons lost their jobs as the museum eliminated vacant positions and moved personnel around. (Though that’s hardly consolation to the unlucky nine.)
