Hirst in His Own Hand

April 30, 2009 by Marion Maneker

Requiem, White Roses and Butterflies

Bloomberg announces the upcoming exhibition of Damien Hirst’s paintings at the Wallace Colletion:

Hirst’s works will be exhibited beside the Wallace Collection’s Old Master paintings, furniture, and porcelain.

“I’ve chosen to show my new paintings here because I love the fact that it is a family collection,” Hirst said in a news release issued by the Wallace Collection. “It’s like a world away from the world.”
