ARCO is Good to Baselitz

February 16, 2009 by Marion Maneker

Georgina Adam reports on this sale from ARCO:

Salzburg and Paris dealer Thaddaeus Ropac found a private Spanish buyer for a huge Georg Baselitz 2007 painting showing a black-booted Marcel Duchamp coupling with a chambermaid in a hail of colourful polka dots, tagged at €425,000. “The fair is going quite well,” said Ropac.
