Do Museums Need a Bailout?

The LA Times’s Christopher Knight expands on a tweet from former art museum director David Ross to suggest that a few museums could use a bailout as part of the government’s infrastructure stimulus package. Knight names the Detroit Institute of Art, the poster child of ailing museums LA’s MoCA and the Barnes Foundation. Any other nominations?
