Phillips de Pury held its Photography sale downtown today. with the exception of a portfolio of Avedon photographs and one of Larry Clark pictures, a Cindy Sherman work and one by Thomas Ruff, none of the other prices were above $25-35,000. Still the sale made $1.89 million and sold in the 67% range.
